2007 was a great year for Ghostwind, it was a year of making history and a year of many Best in Show, Best in Specialty Show and Runner Up Best in Show awards; putting Ghostwind at the top in the Weimaraner rankings.  The highlight for Ghostwind, however, was when both Mac and Pip took out Best Exhibit in Show at the respected Launceston and Hobart Royals, only to be put into the record books for being the first and only Weimaraners to do so since its inception in 1948. 

The domination across the nation continued throughout 2008 with many more Best in Show awards, including Best in Show in Qld,  Best in Specialty Show at the Weimaraner Club of NSW and Runner Up Best Exhibit in Specialty Show at the Weimaraner Club of Victoria and Weimaraner Club of Queensland.  Mac's succcess throughtout 2007 saw him competing in Adelaide,  representing Tasmania in the Pedigree Top Dog of the Year. This invitation put his name into the history books by being the first and only Weimaraner to represent this honour.  Ghostwind continue to see themselves at the top in the Weimaraner Rankings in 2008, proving their distinction as one of the top weimaraner teams in the nation. 

With our young stock consistently pushing through in the winners circle, and the addition of our new import, it's safe to say that 2009 looks to be another promising year at Ghostwind!
